Archangel Michael

The church is located in the Central Square of Choumeriakos on the upper side It is one of the old parish churches of the village built in the 16th century
It is a one-roomed arched church with a west door and a south window and a round one just above the church door and with a typical carved doorway.
The chancel of the church is very beautifully carved with the icon of Michael the Arch Angel being a work of the Cretan School.
On the floor of the temple there are four graves, a custom of the village, as we have seen in other temples, to bury their dead, inside the temple.
