Holy Cross
It is located east of the village and is built in the 16th century and is the monastery’s katholikon It is a one-roomed arched church with a door and a window.
In the courtyard there is a well that tradition has it that the monks threw the sacred objects into it so that the unbelievers, i.e. the Turks, would not find them and contaminate them when they conquered Crete in 1649.
