The church is located at the highest point of the village, just above the last houses
We don’t have much information about this church It is built on a rocky hill and you go up to the church with stairs It has a panoramic view of the whole Merampello basin and the surrounding villages as well as the hill of Prophet Elias and the surrounding mountains It is located at the crossroads that goes to the villages of Chumeriako Vryses and Platypidi and the hill of Prophet Elias.It is a one-room Kamarotos church.
The icon of Christ in the iconostasis represents the Resurrection of the Lord.

The tradition says that during the battle of Vryses the Turks of the area hit the icon of the Saint with a bullet and the icon took out a bloody man The holes from the bullets can still be seen today
